Dark Orbit

DarkOrbit is a 2D sci-fi spaceship MMO available for where players begin by choosing from one of three factions: Mars Mining Operations (MMO), Earth Industries Corporation (EIC), or Venus Resources Unlimited (VRU). The game’s object is to acquire riches and influence for both the player and the company. The game has two forms of legal tender: credits and uridium. Some gear and ammo require credits but the best equipment needs uridium. There are ten Ship Models starting off with the Phoenix and players venture into the galaxy to fight aliens and players. The game is strongly PvP- focused including multiple PvP game modes and special events like Jackpot Arena and Team Deathmatch. A variety of armaments can terminate aliens and other players and these include laser cannons, laser ammunition, rockets, rocket launchers, and mines. The Skylab is a system that manufactures and processes ores, such as Prometium, Endurium, and Terbium. These basic ores refined into Prometid and Duranium, which when combined with Xenomit can make Promerium. A mineral called Seprom can be manufactured by purifying Promerium. The Pilot Bio is a skill tree furnishing players extra improvements but points are required and can be obtained from log disks from the shop, destroying a boss, or by completing Galaxy Gates. For 100 Uridium, players can spin a galaxy Gate Generator, which gives ammunition, free repairs, or parts for a galaxy gate. Once in the Outfit Gate there is no way out except to finish the mission.
